First Presbyterian was built in 1826, and serves as one of Georgia's oldest running houses of worship. Located in the downtown area, the church is just South of the Rose Hill Cemetery. The Church was built just 3 years after Macon was incorporated as a city, and is now home to a healthy congregation of over 1000 members.
